Searching for the right hosting solution can be a long and arduous task. If you have been looking for reliable web hosting solution but were confused because of the numerous web hosting providers to choose from, then your search is officially over.

With literally hundreds of web hosting review sites sprouting on the internet everyday, it is really hard to find a suitable web host that can actually suite your needs. But to make matters worse, while some review sites says this host is good, others say it’s not. With all these confusion it is easy to actually miss the best web host that suites you. A few days back, I was in the same position while searching for a good web host for one of our biggest clients. As I was searching on the web for reviews after narrowing down the choice I finally came across this best web hosting site.

Searching for the right hosting solution can be a long and arduous task. If you have been looking for reliable web hosting solution but were confused because of the numerous web hosting providers to choose from, then your search is officially over. Web Hosting Clue has seemingly done all the hard work for you and has listed honest independent reviews of the best web hosting companies based on key and bonus features, reliability and up time, customer support, client feedback, hosting awards and price to value ratio. This host rating site is pretty useful to build the biggest searchable web hosting directory featuring complete information on all best web hosting providers, all their web hosting plans and their drawbacks too.

Apart from the hosting reviews, Web Hosting Clue also provides web hosting coupons that can save you a few hundred bucks. Their coupon page contains more than 15 prominent web hosts and maximum of them are the best in business. The only downside I noticed is all of the coupons are linked, which means the owners might have affiliation with them. However that’s the open secret of affiliate marketing and I personally think the owners surely deserves that for the well maintained site.

Another thing we liked about Web Hosting Clue is that they have their own Award System for a wide array of webhosts. Awards are categorized and based on the performance of the webhost and winners are selected by the votes from the members of the websites. That is surely a good thing for those who need detailed information of webhosts as other review sites lacks that.

While blogs of different genre continue to thrive and excel, those focusing on technology have become even more appreciated by people who do not want to be left behind in the latest gadget developments. Here are the top 10 reasons why you should regularly read technology blogs

If we look around the internet we’ll notice that Blogs are prospering much faster than regular websites; so much faster that I’d not be surprised if blogs out-play the websites and completely take their place, lets say 10 years down the line! This is primarily because, the advantages that blogs have over the more sophisticated websites are literally countless.

However, while blogs of different genre continue to thrive and excel, those focusing on technology have become even more appreciated by people who do not want to be left behind in the latest gadget developments. Here are the top 10 reasons why you should regularly read technology blogs:

1)	Compared to websites, interacting on blogs (leaving comments on blog posts and blog forums) is much easier. For those who want to discuss points on technology without being bothered with any fee, technology blogs are certainly the option. More often than not, technology blogs are certainly interactive. These are not venues for one-way communication like most websites. Instead, these make sure that readers can also present their ideas or comments on the articles and other information on technology.

2) Technology blogs are easier to navigate. Most tech bloggers often do realize the fact that not all people who are interested in technology are internet-savvy. Some just want information regarding the latest electronic devices and gadgets. Many also prefer to get the information they need without going through so many web pages. And in such circumstances technology blogs can be much better than static website pages.

3)	Blogs on technology often deliver information in the non-techie’s language. In fact, these blogs discuss technology on a more informal and personal manner. These do not scare or confuse people with very scientific or engineering terms. So if you want to learn about a new technology or latest gadget then visiting a tech blog can prove more fruitful than looking it up in the Wikipedia!

4) Most technology blogs are free to read and leave comments. Often they do not require you to pay a hefty subscription fee to be able to gain access to their content. So if you do not wish to have a big dent in your wallet while reading about a latest technology, then referring to a tech blog is something that you should consider doing often.

5)	Tech blogs can be good source of earnings if you are a part time author. Most tech blogs offer guest blogging these days and if you are someone with good knowledge about technology then you could explore the possibilities to earn some extra cash.

6)	Blogs concentrating on technology are the best venues for sharing information on the most recent updates in the field of electronics engineering. People from different parts of the globe can easily access these so it makes the information sharing even wide reaching.

7)	Technology blogs can be used to monitor the prices of devices and appliances worldwide. Through these, you can see the differences of prices. Thus in case, you have been planning to buy the new iPhone 4, then visiting some price comparison tech blogs can help you get the best deal.

8 )	These can help electronic device users in doing maintenance and repairs. Sometimes, manufacturers simply do not provide efficient customer services. Fortunately, there are blogs that regularly come out with “how to” tutorial type articles on repairing or enhancing technological gadgets.

9)	In many cases, such tech blogs have been used as hosts for independent reviews on technological products. Because manufacturers or dealers do not own and run these, one can expect such blogs to be more objective in judging the products.

10)	Technology blogs usually offer tips and tricks on the proper use of many electronic appliance and devices. Many people browse it instead of relying only on the websites owned by the manufacturers themselves.

Recently we came across this new web hosting service (WooServers) that really looks promising. Whether you are a professional blogger looking for a good web hosting service or a big corporate looking for virtual private servers (VPS) or a dedicated server to host your web services, WooServers seem to got it all! We checked about them and it appears that WooServers provide affordable, reliable and constantly monitored dedicated server solutions that come along with great customer service.

Whether a webmaster is looking to maintain a small website or build a hugely popular portal, WooServers seem to have a suitable hosting plan for you. If you are looking for dedicated servers at a very cheap price, have a look at WooServers Summer Sale and you won’t believe what you get at such a cheap price. And the special deals that they have got looks pretty mouth-watering, as well; for example, Core2Quad or Dual Xeon servers can be purchased for just $20 for the first month. If you’re looking for VPS, then their VPSes are also cheap and start from just $6.99 for 20 GB HDD, 512 MB RAM.

Not only the prices, but the sales support looks wonderful too. It is easier to get answer to any of your pre-sales question because they are available to chat with you on Skype directly and solve any of your queries. They also chat via other common messengers (AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, MSN) on technical issues. They offer unmanaged server solutions but their definition of “unmanaged” seems to be generous. All their support guys are friendly and polite, be it Sales or Technical Support.

WooServers Unmanaged Solutions:

- Redundant power backup
- Automated generator system
- 99.95% uptime guarantee.
- 1 Month Minimum Contract
- Dedicated switch port
- Full root access
- Free Netscreen DoS protection
- Free reboot ticket submission
- Free dedicated server warranty
- Free standard management
- Free network support
- 24×7x365 technical support & network monitoring
- Failed hardware replacement

Main Advantages of WooServers:

- They have great variety of Payment options too. They offer PayPal, AlertPay, MoneyBookers and Liberty Reserve as opposed to just PayPal and credit cards by many other hosting providers.

- Upgrades: As to a VPS, one can always upgrade by paying the difference in packages, nothing more. It is also possible to downgrade if one believes he does not need so much resources. As to dedicated servers, WooServers offer a whole range of OS options as well as bandwidth, HDD, RAM upgrades, etc. They also offer a variety of control panels to both dedicated servers and VPSes. VPSes go with vePortal included in the price.

- Free Mondays on WooServers: For customers willing to try their VPSes out for at least a month, here is a great way to do that. Basically, they give free VPS 1 [512 MB Ram (Guaranteed), 20 GB HDD, 1000 GB Bandwidth] for a month to the first 3 people who reply to their blog post every Monday.

- Refer a friend program: WooServers offer a month of free VPS 1 or its money equivalent to all clients (existing or new) who refer 2 friends to them and if they purchase any service.

You won’t probably find a better package at such rock-bottom prices. Those who are skeptical about trying out a new service may still want to give this a shot. If you are still not sure, give them a try just for a short while. At that kind of price, you have nothing really to lose here. Remember, they have the minimum term of just 1 month – no obligation to stay longer.

Luckily, there are many ways to make money online. One of them is by having a Google Adsense account. AdSense delivers contextual ads precisely targeted to your site, helping you earn revenue from your website. Here I will present you the Top 5 Revenue sharing Websites, Forums or blogs, that can reward you for your writing skills.

Top 5 Adsense Revenue Sharing Websites

1. HubPages

Take advantage of the royalty-generating tools that are available with HubPages. HubPages provide you with easy access to the Internet’s top income generating tools: Google ads, eBay and Amazon offers. The opportunity to earn more and more royalties over time simply increases by writing about your favorite topic. Write about your hobbies and earn rewards in return — isn’t that like icing on the cake?

2. Triond

Triond is one of my top favorite revenue sharing websites because it benefits its users from double sides. A user can get 50% Adsense revenue and 60% revenue from other advertisement programs on the Triond through their PayPal account or via Western Union.

3. Squidoo.com

This is what they say — “Since Squidoo is free to use, they run a few ads on your lens in order to keep paying the server bills. But, since you’re the brains behind the lens, you should get a cut! And better than a cut: you get HALF. That’s right. Any time someone stops by your lens and buys a product you recommended or clicks on a Google ad, you get 50% of the royalties. Squidoo keeps 45% for the company and sends 5% to charity“.

4. Flixya.com

On Flixya, you can share video, photo and blog posts. And the Revenue Sharing is a whooping 100%. Yes, you heard it right — this is a social network that puts 100% ad revenue directly in your pocket. They’ve built the tools for you to share your videos, photos, and blogs. So Flixya is your place to make friends, earn money, network and more.

5. Xomba.com

This is a great website which shares 50% advertisement revenue from Adsense. Xomba uses Google Adsense on every page of the site. Any posts made by the user will display targeted ads on their Xombyte/Xomblurb. Xomba automatically rotates ownership of the ads between users and the website. As always, you are paid by Google every time someone clicks on these ads. But make sure that you are not using any Non-English words here; because if you do, these guys (Xomba) can quickly ban you!

Earn 100% Adsense Revenue with TechChunks.com

Tips For Success

- Write lots of article. The more; the better.
- Set up a schedule to work as much as possible, and stick to the schedule.
- Try other sites. Do not rely on one site for traffic. Remember the old adage – avoid putting ALL your eggs in ONE basket.
- NEVER CLICK YOUR OWN ADS. It is the quickest way to get yourself banned from the Adsense program! So don’t.

Right SEOs, we all know the good old Black Hat techniques that circulate around the world, but these aren’t the only problem. There are also those that really make a hash job of SEO. I recently heard from several clients some techniques that they had learnt from other SEO companies they had previously worked with, and thought I would share them with you.

I will not name any of the companies, but hopefully for those that are relatively new to SEO, this will shed some light on some techniques you should avoid. It may also help some to recognize when a bad SEO comes forward and gives some bad advice, and when to walk away from such shady black hat SEO methods because they can (and will) hurt your Google rankings.

1. “It’s a good idea for us to begin by building toxic links to your competitors, this is a good way to damage their reputation and force them down in the rankings”. I couldn’t believe this when I first saw the e-mail but it was a genuine suggestion. Building “toxic links” is somewhat of a gray area, and is difficult to show that it does a lot of damage to your rankings. I would never recommend building toxic links (these are like comment links or links from “dodgy” websites) to your site because there is every chance you could get noticed, and then penalized by Google. However building links to a competitor is one of the dumbest ideas I have ever heard. There could even be a chance that they get some benefit out of them, not to mention that no work is being done on your own site!

2. “Put as many keywords in your Title and Meta Tags. This is a great way to show Google that your site is relevant to specific key terms”. I don’t even understand this proposal very well. Spamming your Meta Tags! Wasn’t that something that worked 230 years ago? Seriously, Google pays barely any attention to the Description Meta Tag, and absolutely none to the Keyword Tag. These have no benefit to your site, but you can be sure that if you put 500 words in each one, your site isn’t going to rank very well in Google. The Title tag is one of the more important attributes on your site. You need to use this wisely. There is a character limit set at 70 for the top optimized Title tag, and you should stick to this, only use 3 keywords that work best for each page, spamming this, will get you penalized.

3. “Your site is quite dull and we have evidence to show that a lively site attracts more visitors. So we recommend using Flash, and this will help to bring the site into a more favorable and aesthetically pleasing view”. Right, *Sigh* having a lively site will help with fresh content, but I promise you that there will be no SEO benefit what so ever from adding Flash to your site. Google and I hate Flash, it can’t be easily read, and Google’s Bot actually disregards most of it. Not only this it is also filled with so much messy code, slowing down your website (which has now been confirmed as a ranking factor). Bringing fresh content onto your site is a good thing, Flash is one of the worst!

4. “We strongly recommend that you buy at least 15 domains, preferably with some age and power. We can send you a list if you would like, we would then redirect them to your site”. Excuse me for saying this but “OMG”. Satanic Black hat devil worshipers, this is what is known as Parasite hosting in the SEO world. The redirect they are talking about is called a 301. It is quite literally where all the power from these older domains is passed through to the new one, to give it a boost. It is extremely easy to identify, and even easier to penalize. Google isn’t stupid and neither are you guys, don’t fall into these traps!

While both Mac and Windows computers have built-in functions that allow you to take a screenshot of your desktop, Firefox has a plug-in that does one better: it can take a screenshot of an entire webpage. Instead of taking multiple screenshots and piecing them together to show one page, you can download and install the Screengrab plug-in to do the same.

How to Use Screen Grab (Firefox)

Screengrab is a Firefox extension that makes it easy to save a web-page as an image – it’s a screen capture tool for Firefox! With it, you can save anything that you can see in a browser window – from a small selection, to a complete page. You should really download it right now.

Basically Screengrab! let’s you take what you want from a web-page: the entire scrollable document, just the visible bit, or a draggable selection. Screengrab will even save just the contents of an individual frame. Screengrab captures Flash and Java applets as long as you have Java installed.

To use it, just right-click a page to bring up the context menu and look at the options under “Screengrab”. It’s pretty self-explanatory! (if you don’t see the menu then something must be broken – better send me an email). You can save it as jpg or png. It can also capture Flash and Java applets.

Navigate to the website that you want to take a screenshot of. Once it has completely loaded, right-click anywhere on the page. A menu will pop up, and at the very bottom, you should see “ScreenGrab” as the last option. You have a 3 different ways to take a screenshot with ScreenGrab:

Save a Screenshot of the Entire Page
To grab a screenshot of the entire webpage, choose “ScreenGrab” > “Save” > “Complete Page/Frame” A “Save Menu” will pop up to save the screenshot. You can rename your screenshot and change the location to save it. You can also change the format from PNG to JPG using the drop-down menu.

Save a Traditional Screenshot
You can use ScreenGrab to take a traditional screenshot, as well. Right-click on the webpage, and choose “ScreenGrab” > “Save” > “Visible Portion.” This will capture a screenshot of just what is seen on the screen. When the “Save Menu” pops up, name your screenshot and save it to your preferred location.

Save a Section of the Screen
ScreenGrab can screenshot just a section of a webpage, the same way that Mac can. To do this, right-click and choose “ScreenGrab” > “Save” > “Selection,” and the entire page will turn a light purple shade. Holding down your left mouse button, drag your cursor over the area that you want to cap, and you will see a box appear as you go. When you have capped the area you need, let go of the mouse button and the “Save Menu” will pop up – name and save your screenshot, and you’re done.

[Also check out this: Ultimate List of Top 20 Must-Have Killer Wordpress Plugins!]

You can do all three of the above screenshot methods, but instead of saving directly to your desktop, you can choose to have the screenshot saved to your clipboard. This is a good option for those who would rather paste the screenshot into a paint program and make some changes to it before saving. To use copy instead of save, follow the same exact instructions, except choose “Copy” instead of “Save” after choosing “ScreenGrab.” If you are a webmaster or blogger, this Firefox plugin is for you.

The headline is the most important piece of any blog post. Without a snappy, descriptive headline that sucks readers in, your post stands no chance of getting read. The best content can be instantly killed by a bad headline. It’s just that simple.

But don’t worry, there’s good news. Writing better blog headlines is actually pretty easy. By following these helpful tips, you can start writing powerful headlines with your very next post. And once you do that, you’ll find that your promotion efforts get much more results than before.

Here are my top 5 tips for writing better blog titles, so that you will no more have to worry about how to write better blog headlines. Add your own tips by leaving a comment.

Top 5 Tips on How to Write Better Blog Headlines

1. Keep it short—You need to grab your readers’ attention as quickly as possible. They should be able to glance at your headline and instantly be sucked in. Remember, online readers tend to scan content in an F-shaped pattern, and many studies show that most people only read the first few words of your headline. This means you need to keep it short and put the most important information at the beginning.

But this isn’t the only reason to write brief headlines. Think about social media marketing. If someone Tweets out your post and you have a long headline, they won’t have enough room to add their own comments to it. Also, if someone decides to submit your post on Digg, ReddIt, or a similar social voting site, a long headline could exceed an allowed character limit.

2. Don’t mislead your readers—I’ll never forget the first time I was misled by a blogger. The headline was a top 10 list offering tips for better online marketing. When I clicked the link to read the story, there were only 2 tips. The author said that if you wanted the other 8, you’d have to come back and read his next few posts. Nowhere in the headline did it say “Part 1” or anything else to indicate it was a series. I felt duped. And what’s worse is when I checked back a few weeks later, he never added the other tips.

Don’t lie in your headline. You may be able to trick people into clicking on the post that way, but as soon as they find out you’re full of it, they’ll leave and probably never come back. By all means, you can be creative and clever, but above all else, your headline needs to be clear and honest.

3. Don’t overlook the proven headline templates—Like I just said, feel free to be creative in writing your headline. In fact, I believe experimenting and testing different types of headlines is very important (more on that later). However, it’s also foolish to ignore proven headline templates that just work. List headlines (like this one), how to headlines, benefit-driven headlines, leading question headlines, and insider knowledge headlines (the secret of___, or things you didn’t know about ____) have been proven to work time and time again.

Don’t believe me? Check out the homepage of Digg, ReddIt, Sphinn, or whatever other voting site you can think of. More times than not, the majority of the headlines will be in one of those formats. You can also see these headlines used on the covers of the most popular magazines. They suck readers in.

4. Optimize your title for search engine traffic—If you optimize your posts correctly, you can get traffic for years to come through the search engines. Of course, content optimization starts with writing a keyword-rich title. So, do some keyword research, and incorporate relevant terms in your posts.

One word of caution: Never sacrifice readability for the sake of SEO. If the keyword just doesn’t make sense in the headline, don’t use it in there. It’s better to have an interesting, catchy headline than a boring, optimized one.

5. Experiment—While I believe all of the tips in this list can help any blogger improve his or her headlines, the truth is we are all in different situations. What works for one blog may not work on another. The only way to find out what works best for you is to test out different styles of headlines. Never assume anything. Keep experimenting until you get results that show which headlines your readers respond best to.

What tips would you offer for writing better blog headlines? Share your ideas as comments.

Sick of internet advertisements? Like it or not, banner, contextual, and even pop-up ads have become an integral part of nearly all modern websites. While it’s understandable that all of our favorite websites need a way to subsidize server costs, and web-based businesses must maintain profits in order to survive, where is the line drawn?

Just when you got used to the standard forms of internet advertising, a new up-and-coming type of ad is aggressively making a name for itself in the market. If you’re already sick of internet advertisements, get ready to be thoroughly annoyed. Introducing… CAPTCHA advertising!

It’s times like this when I smack myself in the head and say “Why didn’t I think of this?”. Yeah, someone actually has found a way to make me relieved to see an advertisement, anything that saves my eyes the damage of trying to decode some jumbled mess of words is a savior in my book. In this case the savior came as “Invisiline Teeth Whitener” as seen here.

What is CAPTCHA?

The term CAPTCHA, or Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (whew, that’s a mouthful), was first coined by four professors at Carnegie Mellon University. The professors went on to make a variety of CAPTCHA forms that became popular in the year 2000.

The Company Behind This CAPTCHA Advertising

The company, AdCopy, is a new company without any history but it seems they’re legit or at the very least putting on one hell of a show. With physical addresses listed in New York City and Philadelphia, AdCopy is currently beta testing the new form of internet advertising. Advertisers and website owners interested in trying out the service can request a beta invite into the system on AdCopy.com by filling out a short form. The site boasts of a self-serve advertising platform that will allow advertisers to create and upload their ads directly to their system using a simple interface.

Expect a number of ad platforms to pop up in the near future that mimic the AdCopy model of CAPTCHA advertising. Companies are likely to attempt to differentiate themselves with different costs, expanded placement options, improved statistical tracking, and increased opportunities for advertisers to customize their ads. Websites will begin to implement these CAPTCHA ads as they become more widely known and publicly available.

Anyway, I just thought this was an awesome idea and I have this haunch that they are going to be very successful. Too bad I have no sites which required captcha, or I’d be all over this. What is your opinion on this new form of advertising – CAPTCHA ads? Are you insulted or indifferent about this new form of ad poisoning?

Few days back I wrote an article about Six things you can do when nobody is reading your blog and got some interesting replies about increasing your reader base and traffic. Based on the comments we got that time, in this post, I’ve tried to highlight some of the common behavioral traits of a blog reader (including ME) like how the blog readers react when they land at your blog, what was going through their mind at that time, what they were expecting from you and other similar things. So, here is the list.

They have lot of options: Yes, no matter what kind of information you are trying to share with your readers or what kind of niche you are in, your readers always have large number of options to select from.

They want best of the best: Since they have lot of options they don’t want to compromise with quality. They only want best of the best information, advice, suggestions or anything else for themselves.

They don’t have time: If they can’t get the information they are searching for instantly they will simply turn away and move to another blog. They don’t want to put any efforts for searching the information and prefer to have everything on their plates.

They give importance to Visual appearance: They won’t stop on your blog in case your blog looks similar to other thousands of blogs in your niche. To grab their attention you need to have a unique or weird kind of design.

First impression is very important: They won’t come to your blog again in case your blog/website has a negative first impression on them. This negative impression could be anything like slow loading time, auto playing of music, pop ups, lots of advertisements etc.

They are selfish (no offense dear readers):They don’t care to write a thank-you e-mail or to leave a comment on your posts even if they liked your content and found it helpful. They come, take the information they need and leave.

They want personalized attention: Mostly the readers don’t comment but in case if they do comment or send you an email they need you to contact them as soon as possible. If you don’t, they will label you as an egoistic person and won’t come to your blog again.

They love credibility: They won’t follow your advice or recommendations in case if they don’t know you personally or if you are not popular enough and have some credibility in your niche.

They take their decision instantly: They love clicking and always have multiple tabs open in their web browser. If they can’t find your blog interesting enough in the first few seconds of your visit they will close the tab.

They are always looking for something different: They don’t want to go thought the things which they already know about. They always expect to learn something new from you whenever they come to your blog and failure to do so disappoints them and send negative signals to them.

These were the ten things, which I could think of. Feel free to share your opinions in the comment below.
