Professor Tagishaki, from Tokyo Quantum Mechanics institute found new elementary particles in 1997 which he named “Meons.” In this puzzle game, you must solve more than 120 levels to free Meons. Use Prism, Splitter and other various tools to light all the Meons and solve the Light Quest!

It was a moment with mixed feelings when Steve Jobs introduced iCloud to the world at Apple’s annual WWDC [Worldwide Developers Conference] in San Francisco. As he introduced Apple’s long-awaited iCloud service and platform, Jobs noted how the act of synchronizing multiple devices has “broken down” of late.

Noting that devices have changed over the past decade, with people now using photos and videos on the go, the PC should no longer be the hub for your digital life, with all media hosted on the computer. “Keeping these devices in sync is driving us crazy,” Steve told the crowd.

What is iCloud?

To address the new reality, Apple Inc. has moved the digital hub to the cloud. iCloud stores your music, photos, apps, calendars, documents, and more. And wirelessly pushes them to all your devices — automatically. It’s the easiest way to manage your content.

All iOS devices can talk to the cloud whenever they want, with instant propagation to all other devices. With iCloud, users get 5GB of free storage for mail, documents and backups; purchased music, apps and books don’t count.

iCloud completely replaces MobileMe. Mail, contacts, and calendar are all free. Contacts and calendars will be updated across devices, just like they currently do, but there are several new components to iCloud.

“Some people think a cloud is just a hard disk in the sky,” Steve told the crowd. “We think it’s way more than that.” iCloud stores content (think contacts, calendar, photos, music), with wireless push to all devices. And with APIs providing developers with hooks into iCloud, all apps can take advantage of the service.

However, bandwidth constraints are still a huge challenge. So with content like movies, which require so much space, we’ll have to see what happens. But just starting with documents, cloud computing will fundamentally change how we write and collaborate on projects.

Will iCloud ‘Legitimize’ Music Pirates?

Interestingly, Apple’s new cloud music service has been heavily criticized by some of the big players from the music industry for supposedly encouraging piracy by allowing people to essentially legitimize their pirated music collections.

But we don;t think Apple will be condoning piracy and it’s better for the labels to have a transparent system run by Apple than some nefarious P2P site. Besides, what pirate would bother uploading their collection to a cloud when they probably already have an iPod full of the music anyway?

Hidden Tips and Tricks on How to Turn Your iPod Touch 4G Into a Super Gizmo

-      For rearranging Home Screen icons, tap and hold an icon until they all start to jiggle. Drag the icons around to rearrange them, and when it is satisfactory, press the home button.

-      If you’re scrolling through a long document/page in an application – if you tap the status bar (the bar at the top of your screen containing the time and battery), the application will automatically scroll up to the top of the document/page.

-      Instead of sliding across the page, tapping immediately left or right of the page dots on the Home Screen and Weather will move to the next page.

-      To take a screenshot of any screen of your Touch (including the lock screen), hold the power and home buttons and release them. A white flash will appear on screen and a screenshot will appear in your Photos application.

Third-party MDM vendors had created their own utilities to check for jailbreaks, but Apple’s jailbreak detection API granted MDM applications direct access to iOS system information.

“We used it when it was available, but as an adjunct,” said Sybase vice president of engineering Joe Owen. “I’m not sure what motivated their removing that….I’ve not had anyone [at enterprise customer sites] talk to me about this API being present or being removed.“

The API was part of a set of mobile device management features incorporated into iOS 4. It essentially allowed applications to audit the OS to determine if the system had been compromised, the usual method by which jailbreaking code is injected. Some vendors speculated that because the OS audit itself could theoretically also be compromised, the API would eventually become useless anyway.

“Whatever [Apple] adds [in the OS] to detect the jailbreak, if it is to be queried from the iOS kernel, it must be accessible and have the ability to be changed,” security consultant Jeremy Allen told Cox. “Meaning, if it is going to be a useful detection method it can also be circumvented. It is a fairly intractable problem to solve 100%.“

Shutting down the API, while useful for companies worried about the potential security risks jailbreaking poses, won’t leave companies and developers out in the cold. There are other methods they can use to detect jailbroken devices, and in many cases those solutions are already in place. Apple hasn’t commented on its decision to pull the API. The move shouldn’t, however, be interpreted as Apple endorsing jailbreaking.

Around 8:20AM passengers complained about a burning smell, forcing the train to come to a halt while officials went searching for the source. A female passenger then came forward to show that her iPod had burst apart after overheating.

The train was stopped in western Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward for eight minutes — quite a long time for Tokyo’s busy train schedule — at around 8:20 a.m. local time. “When a member of staff went to investigate inside the train, a passenger came over showing him that the iPod she was listening to had burst apart,” the spokesman of the rail line operator Tokyu Corp told Reuters. No injuries were reported.

Apple has declined to comment. The debacle may only worsen Apple’s public image in Japan, which has been marred somewhat by a series of incidents in recent years, involving first-generation Nanos overheating and in some cases producing fire or sparks. The Japanese trade ministry now claims that there have been about 60 such cases, including four that caused minor burns; the number is up from a recent tally of 34.

Apple has described the problem as rare, and attributable to a single battery supplier. At the same time, though, the company recently began a replacement program, ordered by the Japanese government. Prior to formal demands, Apple Japan is said to have been unresponsive to pressure to take market steps, such as issuing warnings or a recall. At any rate, it isn’t good news for Apple, considering the recent claims that reported iPhone 4 bursting into flames (with pics to prove)!
