HTC has come up with Android phones with Facebook button – a unique feature related to these smartphones. For those who are inevitably linked to the Facebook, the HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa are to be looked upon. The better integration to Facebook, one of the most popular social networking sites around for all, can give these phones an edge over others in the range.

The multifaceted applications allow the user to remain connected to the virtual world in a seamless manner. But which one of these to buy if you are looking for a Facebook Phone?

The HTC ChaCha

The HTC ChaCha is a fine example of the increasing inclination towards the “mantra” of social media. The blue color scheme it possesses gives a better feel of the Facebook page. Features include a 2.6 HVGA capacitive 480×320-pixel-resolution touch screen, Android 2.4 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 3G, Wi-Fi, etc.

Sharing becomes easier with the HTC ChaCha. Other features include a touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. The phone has a unique tilt design to provide convenience while typing and viewing.

The dual cameras enable the user to capture memorable images, which can be instantly shared with friends and loved ones through the Internet. You connect to your friend in a unique way while making a call to him/her. The phone displays details (like latest status, birthday, etc.). You get similar updates while receiving a call from your Facebook friend.

There are many other features which are customizable as per your need. The Facebook share button will pulse softly for updates or content sharing. The Facebook Chat and Messages have also been made user-friendly. The HTC ChaCha can be purchased for $599 from Vodafone New Zealand.

The several features are meant to provide an ever-faster input, particularly ease of usage, to connect the users with their loved ones. The maker describes the phone as an initiative towards “instant life-sharing at its best.” The Vodafone Smart Network enabled phone can be duly advantageous to the Facebook users.

The phone potentially offers its users better accessibility. Updating social media should not remain much of a concern when using the services of one of the fastest growing companies in the mobile industry, the HTC. The company emphasizes its customers, which supposedly are the inspiration behind its smart phones and tablets. The effort is aimed to provide improved services according to individual needs.

The HTC Salsa

The HTC Salsa is the other one by HTC, with many resemblances to the HTC ChaCha. It is an Android smart phone which also integrates superbly with Facebook. The design is robust. Features include a full touchscreen, Android 2.4 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 5 megapixel camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, a dedicated Facebook button, etc.

With the HTC Salsa, Facebook usage can obtain a fresh and unique appeal. The Facebook button, which can be found below the screen on the bottom edge, works contextually. It lights up for updates and sharing multimedia content. The music application enables you can to share the name of the song (which you are listening to). Pressing and holding the button can automatically check (through the Facebook Places feature) to update your status.

Possibly the finest feature of this phone is the new lock screen (borrowed from the HTC Sensation). The lock screen provides you multiple shortcuts which are customizable. You can also view missed calls, SMS notifications and emails on the lock screen. “Long pressing” on the Facebook button can allow you to check in at your current location via Facebook Places.

Instant messaging to Facebook contacts is possible through the FB Chat application on the phone. The ticker at the bottom of the clock shows the latest Facebook updates. The HTC Salsa, however, does not score much on its weak processor, making playing games or running processor-intensive apps burdening.

Largely, these phones are good as far as specializing about Facebook is concerned. The HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa are identical in many ways. They have been supposedly designed to target the most hardcore of Facebook users.

Hold your breath guys – HTC Jetstream 10.1 inch 4G Honeycomb Tablet is launching with AT&T on September 6. Undoubtedly, Verizon has remained extremely forceful with tackling the 4G LTE marketplace by delivering some of the best tablets and new mobile phones, ones like the HTC Jetstream, whilst AT&T rests casually while they anticipate their moment to unveil the switches. Instead of postponing the unavoidable, AT&T chose to progress with things by delivering to consumers their original 4G LTE supported tablet running Android Honeycomb, also referred to as the HTC Jetstream. But could it be the ultimate iPad killer? Read on to find out…

Since this one is the second tablet in the HTC smart gadget collection following the HTC Flyer, it meets all expectations consumers have and more because of its superb hardware “beneath the hood” to balance its capability of Internet surfing speedily not too far in the near future. Hence, its high cost factor from the beginning may outwardly upset its capacity to develop into a popular forge for AT&T’s future next-creation data arrangement. Some of AT&T’s cellular devices are not in the line of cheap mobile phones or devices.

The latest AT&T package consists of the following:

• microUSB cable
• Device charger – wall charger
• Quick Start Manual
• HTC Jetstream

HTC Jetstream 10.1 Inch Honeycomb Tablet Design:

Succeeding the identical design pattern developed through a previous device, the HTC Flyer, the HTC Jetstream has an appearance similar to the Flyer and feels like an even larger version of its seven-inch marketplace relative; however, it displays a darker gray and silver shade that is not really that bad-appearing in the least! It is actually quite attractive and striking! Above all, it radiates a fair quantity of sturdiness because of its polished aluminum covering and smooth-touch spots on its backside, however oddly, a decent tap on the rear exposes a bit of emptiness with this particular tablet.

It is neither the most streamlined tablet (a little over half an inch thick) or the lightest in weight, weighing only twenty-five ounces, in the marketplace, we prompted to remember one of Motorola’s previous designs, the XOOM, because there are a few likenesses. Is that fascinating? Certainly not; however, at any rate, it exemplifies every one of the features we regularly discover with additional leading market HTC devices.

Certainly, the newest AT&T development to enter the market in September of 2011 a great technological advancement in the line of new mobile phones; hence, it is not one of the cheap mobile phones, as the price for this latest device will start at around $700 USD.

HTC Jetstream Specs and Features:

• 10.1 inch Display – Bright HD Screen for the greatest entertainment encounter
• Multitasking Capabilities – 1.5 GHz-Dual-Processing Unit (CPU) – Snapdragon – MSM8260 — Qualcomm
• 4G LTE – The first one AT&T has developed and delivered to consumers
• Android (TM) – 3.1 Honeycomb – More than one thousand application options obtainable via the Android marketplace

Technical Specs:

• The new mobile phones have a battery (73 mAh volume) capable of functioning for around 12 hours – users can use the standby battery function (up to 37 ½ days)
• Weighs 25 oz. and is around 7 inches x 9.87 inches x .51 inches in size
• RAM (memory) – users can expand memory up to at least 32 Gigabytes – comes with 1 GB
• HD capacity (Hard Drive) – 32 GB
• Wireless capabilities – GSM, Edge, GPRS — Bluetooth capable – users can upgrade firmware via Internet and phone – over the air
• LTE – speeds of 4G LTE – 700/AWS – go online anywhere wireless Internet is available
• Global connectivity
• Go online through AT&T’s Data Network options – 3G connection
• Camera – Rear-facing and Front-facing
• OS (Operating System) Android – 3.1 Honeycomb
• Screen Resolution – 1280 x 800 (150 ppi)
• Screen kind – WXGA – colors 16 million – HD multifunction touch-screen
• Keyboard on screen in touch-screen format
• HTC Jetstream Ports – HDMI, Incorporated Microphone and microphone jack – connect speakers

Sizing everything up with one of the not so cheap mobile phones, however dreamy type of new tablet from AT&T, with screen pixels as listed above, it is unquestionably comprehensive enough to decipher even the tiniest of text, hence it is really somewhat beneath the point of the screen resolution utilized by additional comparable new mobile phones.

Truthfully, there is no reason for folks to be alarmed; however, the color development is somewhat flat looking, particularly when placed in comparison with the appealing color creation delivered with the Flyer’s screen. Regardless of that aspect, the tablets broad viewing points allow it to keep its view no matter what way users look at it. Consequently, during the HTC Jetstream review process, we have noticed that we need to shield the screen from the daylight while outside in order to see it because it does not have the greatest screen brightness.

Sadly, when it comes to new mobile phones on the marketplace, even though the HTC from AT&T has some dreamy features and great application alternatives, we were frustrated with a couple aspects regarding the Jetstream, the power button and the volume rocker function. Regrettably, we noticed that these buttons could be activated accidentally with the slightest bump. They are activated far too effortlessly and that can annoy consumers. These function buttons are positioned in locations where an individual’s palms sit upon the phone, hence, someone can hit them by accident and activate the volume or power occasionally.

HTC Jetstream Camera Capabilities and Features:

• Front-facing camera – 1.3 megapixels – Green LED light beside the camera, which turns on when the user starts the camera
• Bottom edge of mobile phone – consists of a port with microUSB/MHL capability that permits the phone to:
- Provides a reflected experience on an HD TV if users implement an adapter (MHL)
- Charge
- Transfer Technological Data

This particular model in new mobile phones has an easy to use power button and the power jack is 3.5 mm in size, the front-facing and rear-facing camera are great features as well, with flash capabilities (LED Flash). The volume rocker is a nice feature, but individuals will need to be careful not to activate by mistake, which might be an annoying aspect of the Jetstream by AT&T for some folks. The microUSB/MHL port is a characteristic many users will favor because several mobile phone users enjoy connecting additional products to their tablets by USB.

The Rear-Facing Camera and Speaker Notches:

• 8 megapixels, instant focus with LED flash (dual flash) – situated towards the better right corner of the phone
• Speaker notches – located close to the bottom border of the tablet
• When consumers remove the plastic cover that surrounds the phone’s camera, it is simpler to do than it is with the Flyer; however, after the plastic protector is removed, we notice that there are additional features, the micro SD card and SIM card slots.

While we performed the review, we found many great characteristics for the HTC Jetstream, delivered by AT&T in September 2011, and we noticed some annoyances consumers might endure. Even though this particular tablet might not be one of the cheap mobile devices on the market, costing around $700 USD as it enters the mobile phone/tablet Android marketplace, many individuals might enjoy the great capabilities we found while reviewing it and believe the money spent is well worth it to make it yet another best tablet alternative to Apple iPad.

Overall, the newest addition to the cell phone/tablet market offers people a new way to surf the World Wide Web, offering thousands of application options, allows people to go online globally and has wireless capabilities, touch screen options and more. Any way we slice the bread, consumers love having new mobile phones and/or tablets, even if they do cost a bit more and have a couple annoying things, people will still try the new HTC Jetstream by AT&T and enjoy modern technology at their fingertips.

HTC Incredible S is a classic smartphone that is recently launched by HTC. Its impressive specifications and trendy look makes it quite unique and user friendly. Blasting 8 megapixel camera with attractive 4 inch large display is a good combination of style and quality image power. For the best user interface and overall experience HTC Incredible S offers both Android and HTC Sense. The HTC Incredible S has a 4" WVGA SuperLCD display which really is better than the regular LCD screens. I've never seen a SuperLCD before but there was quite some buzz around HTC switching from AMOLED to SuperLCD on some of their previous devices, but my opinion was that the SuperLCD performed equally well with the AMOLED display on my Nexus One.

HTC Incredible S is a classic smartphone that is recently launched by HTC. Its impressive specifications and trendy look makes it quite unique and user friendly. The best things in life are free and there are a number of networks offering HTC’s Incredible S for free on a variety of contracts and options. So does the old saying stay true? We look at top five great things about the HTC Incredible S to find out…

1. Shape

The HTC Incredible S feels just right in the hand; it’s not too big like some of the 4.3inch screened devices out there, it’s not too heavy and it’s not in any way flimsy. In fact it’s the perfect phone for everyday use – striking that balance between filling up your pocket and providing a lovely size screen for viewing images and footage on. It’s easy to grip due to its rubber back and has a wonderful feel of quality like most HTCs. Over all it’s one of the nicest feeling phones in any group of devices on the market.

2. Camera

This HTC smartphone has a great snapper, very much like the one we’ve seen in the Desire HD but perhaps a little better. It has dual LEDs, a decent sensor and 8 megapixels of image capturing power. It’s capable of recording 720p video at 30fps so you’re sure to be satisfied watching yourself act out those Charlie Chaplin skits after a few drinks.

3. HTC Sense

HTC has once again added its Sense user interface to the already capable Android 2.2 operating system. To be frank, Sense adds just the ideal amount to Froyo to make it that little bit more neat and tidy. HTC’s sense allows you to flick across numerous windows and place numerous widgets in those windows to access quickly. Its Friends Stream is one of the best social media apps on any phone and it really is a winner on the HTC Incredible S.

4. Solid

The HTC is an all round capable phone – it doesn’t do anything incredibly but it does everything very well. It’s got a fast Snapdragon processor, relatively good battery life, a good screen, camera and operating system and it looks just a little unique. It’s like the best things in life, always there but never showy.

5. Screen

The HTC AMOLED screen is as good as most and offers good colors as well as being a good size. It has very cool, light-up, rotating controls at the bottom of the screen that turn off when the screen does and its 480×800 resolution looks great on the 4 inch screen.
All in all, we’d say that the HTC Incredible S is a very solid offering. All the other components work well together to give very good performance, whether you’re watching videos, playing games or surfing the web, and it’s a good, diplomatic size for portability and practicality.

The sudden craze of Android devices manufactured by almost every well-known brand has been peaking up lately. At the moment, HTC looks like holding an edge of supremacy over this market, as it already launched a few successful smart phones and also has its own UI in place, for the Android devices.

HTC Tattoo is the latest product of 3G phones in the android series that comes with a 2.8-inch touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, digital compass, FM radio, audio input 3.5 mm and a slot for MicroSD cards to expand storage to 512MB integrated. For connectivity, the handset integrates WiFi and Bluetooth. The 108-gram handheld measures 106×55, 2×14mm and is using an 1100mAh Li-ion battery to draw its power. This battery is good according to HTC for a total time of 5.7 hours and a standby time of two weeks. The quality of the pictures depends very much on the light you have and the position of the light. However, even in excellent conditions, pictures are worse than expected, but still decent. And as the device doesn’t have a dedicated camera button, you will have to use the big, rounded four-way navigation key. The interface of the camera doesn’t change to portrait, so you will only be able to take pictures in landscape mode. You will be able to record clips also using a maximum resolution of 352×288 pixels.

All in all, even if it is a mid-ranged smartphone, HTC Tattoo includes the latest communication technologies: GPRS and EDGE class 10, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 384 Kbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and mini USB 2.0.

The integrated browser WebKit cannot be closed, but it seems upgraded, compared with the previous two Android devices: Magic and G1. HTC Tattoo is compatible with all email clients and protocols (POP3, IMAP) and can be synchronized with Microsoft Exchange. The rest of the email accounts can be set to be checked at various intervals (five, ten, 30 minutes). The device is also compatible with SMS, EMS, and MMS text features. The interface is pretty straightforward and user-friendly. The Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity is another option that will surely reduce costs for those that are heavily using Internet browsing or data transfers. The built-in GPS receiver and digital compass work together with the Google Maps, so that you won’t get lost. Unfortunately, there’s still no software behind the integrated GPS receiver, so vocal guiding is out of the question.

HTC Tattoo is powered by a single Qualcomm MSM 7225 processor, running at speeds of up to 528 Mhz. Overall, I am yet to see reports of any lock-downs, crashes, or lags. Moreover, the phone acts very fast to any command, even when multiple applications are running in the background. The Smartphone embeds a 256 MB RAM and a 512 MB ROM memory. The storage space can be expanded up to 16GB through the hot-swappable micro SD card slot that has been placed under the back cover, on the left lower corner of the phone.

The music player supports audio files in MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, MPEG4, WAV, MIDI, Real Audio and Ogg formats. That is a cool range of options you have got, don’t you? However, the music sound is somewhat average in quality, and average in intensity. The video player will open itself every time you click on a video file. There’s also an FM Radio that can be run in the background or listened to in the loudspeaker. The reception is good, as well as the sound.

So the bottom line is that HTC Tattoo has all the ingredients to become a well-sold smart phone, if the Taiwanese manufacturer will set the right price for it. I find the device as one of the best mid-budget phones (feature and performance-wise), as it has a very nice design and excellent apps bundled into it. All that remains is a cheap price, so that a high percentage of smart phone users get to at least try it.
