The designers at ForkedUpArt have imagined a wildly unique iPhone accessory that looks like it flew right out of a Tim Burton movie. They are actually selling two different stands. ForkHead and SpoonHead, ForkHead’s smarter brother.
ForkHead and SpoonHead are designed to act as a companion on your bedside table, desk, table, counter, or wherever you store and charge your cell phone. This silverware dude is fitted to hold an iPhone, but can also hold various phones, iPods, music players, and all sorts of handheld tech gear.
Sold through the favorite iPhone accessory store, Etsy.com, the ForkedUpArt iPhone stands can be customized if you want, and according to the artist, “I’m making these guys as fast as I can.“
These hand twisted DIY iPhone stands are fully functional, leaving clear access below for charging while being held up by spoons/forks for legs. I like that it can be used without removing the case.
How much will one of these unique items cost you? About US$30, plus shipping. That’s less expensive than some of the fancy-schmancy stands you can buy through more traditional sources, and let’s face it — these stands are really cool.
