Here is a better and easier way to download YouTube videos in any browser, except Internet explorer. Yes, you heard it right. This is probably the easiest method to download any YouTube video onto your computer. Easiest, because you need no third-party service (like kissyoutube.com etc) to do this for you. All you need here is to copy-paste a simple javascript code snippet to your browser Address Bar and you are good to go.
How to Download YouTube videos easily in Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari:
Open a YouTube video and while browsing the video paste the following javascript in the address bar.
To download the video in low quality .flv format:
javascript:window.location.href = 'http://youtube.com/get_video?video_id=' + swfArgs['video_id'] + "&l=" + swfArgs['l'] + "&sk=" + swfArgs['sk'] + '&t=' + swfArgs['t'];
To download the video in high quality .mp4 format:

Wow this tip is really awesome. I used to use View page source or something in firefox, can’t remember, but theres a place there where you can download the .flv for the video. Without any 3rd party apps.
