How to Increase Number of Simultaneous Downloads in IE (Hack)

You would have noticed that IE doesn’t allow more than 2 simultaneous downloads from one website. The key related to this is in registry and if you want to change/increase the number of simultaneous downloads then here is how to do that.
- Open Registry Editor – regedit.exe (You could invoke it directly from Strat -> Run -> regedit -> OK)
Browse to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings and search for the following two.

- First key is for 1.0 HTTP servers and the second is for 1.1 HTTP servers. Change the values to your liking. And that’s it, you have changed the number of simultaneous downloads for Internet Explorer. Isn’t that quick and crispy?
